Drone Filming for Outdoor Extreme Sports
Licensed drone and gimbal pilot
JstRoll Media is a Scotland based drone in-house operator. This means we can fly our drone for our clients capturing aerial imagery then take it back to our editing suite and produce a finished video or we can be hired just to fly.
JstRoll Media is fully CCA (Civil Aviation Authority) approved to fly and has insurance for commercial work to boost your video to a new and exciting level. We can fly the drone to capture some unique 4K footage of your project/ machinery/ Sport/ product or event to create more stunning shots to your new video. The aerial images can help add a higher standard of video for your audience and make for even more exciting viewing.
We are very passionate about producing cinematic stunning footage but also being cost affective. We pride ourselves on being able to create smooth flowing movement with our drone or our camera gimbal. This style comes from experience in crafting online videos since 2012 and Drew’s vision and artistic flare on how best to capture video footage.
Our Drone service is new for 2017 but we have already captured some amazing footage for our clients.
If you have an idea to use the drone for a project or would like to use it as an additional perspective for a new video please get in contact with us and we can talk with you to create a great video.
We use the DJI Phantom 4, you may of seen them around they are very popular and for good reason.
Our camera is high performance with the ability for 4k & HD filming for sharp imagery which allows us to pair our drone footage and ground cameras for a slick look.
The Phantom 4 has a 3 axis gimbal removing unwanted shakes or vibration from flying resulting in the camera being smooth and consistent.
Multiple flight modes are a fantastic benefit for us. For example sport mode allows us to keep pace with a mountain bikers or emergency motorbikes for fast paced movements. GPS mode helps us remain stable whilst hovering in one spot for static imagery.
The front of our drone has “Sense and Avoid” sensors to help prevent unwanted collisions with obstacles, this is can handy when flying in tight spaces. Have a look at some our videos below.
