“Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere project 2016. A short film premiere at a global conference in Peru! One of our most exciting films yet.”
So whats this all about?
The video we made shows the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere in South West Scotland and the role Social Enterprise plays with in it. AKA in the film you see ACE (Adventure Centre for Education) who is based in Girvan using the Natural asset of the Biosphere through adventurous activities like mountain biking, canoeing, sea kayaking and hill walking. Ohh and the film was shown at a short film premiere at a global conference in Peru.

This is totally our type of video project. We are set up for it, ready to go and what a journey it was.
Lots of planning went into this video. A story board was drafted up on a very short timescale but we got there! we had a big meeting with important people from the Biosphere who where great at helping with ideas, locations and logistics.
Once this was agreed a film schedule was posted and it was a go!
Filming these activities was a massive challenge but one we loved. Early starts, long drives, getting in and out of kayaks with our cameras, ahhhh! and the editing.
It was all awesome. Chris from ACE is a great guy and great fun to be around. His knowledge and enthusiasm was great to see and reflected in his team. Everybody help where they could by wearing Go Pro cameras carrying camera bags or generally having a laugh in the cold wet weather.
We are really happy with the end result and we have had awesome feedback. hopefully the audience in Peru thought the same.
Thanks for the opportunity to both teams from the Galloway and Southern and Ayrshire Biosphere and Adventure Centre for Education.
